First of all, wow! It was such a blessing to be apart of an extremely talented group of vendors. It was dream come true. My dear friend and old teaching colleague, Kirsten Lewis, contacted me with the idea of a styled shoot. She is extremely talented at planing, designing and creating a beautiful scenery. We reached out to old contacts, friends, and vendors in the area we admired. It all just fell into place. It was such a whirlwind! The icing on the top was being published in Tidewater and Tulle. That was SUCH A SURREAL MOMENT!! Anyways, here are some of my favorites! Enjoy! I feel like I constantly get lucky when meeting clients that become friends! These two... holy smokes. We laughed so, so much during this session. It was natural, easy, very humid, but a breeze to shoot. Not too much longer until these two are Mr. and Mrs.! Man, so much love for this fun couple! The entire day was so laid back, playful, and full of love! I was so lucky Akera (& David!) chose me to capture their wedding. And fun fact: it was on my birthday!! I don't know how many people get to say they have wedding cake on their birthday... 🙌 Congratulations Akera and David! Y'all... there is something SO SO SO special about a homecoming!!! It brings a chill down your spine watching the ship or aircraft come in. The anticipation makes it even sweeter. This homecoming was on a super hot day, gorgeous day. The rain held off until just after reuniting with their loved ones. Thank you so much Liz for allowing me to capture this moment. A special thank you to this couple for both serving our country. My dear friend had her niece and nephew in town for just a few short days. We decided to do a cousin shoot at the park! I do love the posed ones, but them on the playground is so sweet! This was so fun to photograph one of my old students! We did some back to school photos and family photos! It was fun to laugh and catch up with one of my favorite families. I couldn't ask for a more perfect evening with the BEST light!! I love seeing the obvious love with these two! Last month, I was able to spend some time with my cousins and their children while they vacationed in Sandbridge! It was so cool photographing them and seeing them as parents! I have fond memories of playing Sonic with them and watching their high school games when I was a child. Here are a few of my favorites! Man, this couple will forever be special to me. They trusted me to capture not only their engagement session, but their wedding!! Here are some of my favorites from their engagement at Ft. Monroe. Big brother Henry is one lucky dude! Charlotte was an absolute dream during her session. I love how her grandma gifted her a pearl bracelet. What a beautiful touch! |
